Revolution Prep will be hosting a SAT vs. ACT Workshop on Wednesday, May 23rd from 6pm-7pm in ![]() ROP SCHEDULES ANNOUNCEDThe Baldy View Regional Occupation Program (ROP) provides classes for CHHS students (mainly juniors and seniors) to explore careers, earn elective credits and training certificates. Look below (under files) to view the 2012 Summer and Fall Schedules. Students should see Mrs. Lorae Vandenberg in the Career Center to enroll. If interested in a class, don't delay in signing up, as the classes have limited enrollment and fill up fast.
![]() PROJECT MISS - Cal State, FullertonCal. State, Fullerton sponsors an exciting program called MISS (Mathematics Intensive Summer Session) - The purpose of this program is to assist college-bound young women to enhance their mathematic skills. It is a four-week program that begins on Monday, July 2, 2012 and ends on Friday, July 27th. Girls will attend six hours of mathematics classes daily, Monday through Friday. Meals, books, materials and supplies are provided at no cost to the student. Every student that completes the program receives a free graphing calculator.

Session 1 is from June 25 - July 11 and is to make up 1st semester classes. Session 2 is from July 12 - July 27 and is to make up 2nd semester classes. Classes offered are: Algebra 1, Algebra 2, English 9 CP/Honors, English 10 CP/Honors, English 11 CP, English 12 CP, Economics, Earth Science, Geometry, Spanish 1,2 & 3, Trig/PreCalculus, US History & World History. In addition, Driver's Ed (student must be 15 at time of registration) will be offered. Hybrid Courses: (Requires classroom attendance from 7:30 - 11:45 on Tue. & Thurs. at Don Lugo H.S.) - Biology, Chemistry & PE If students have Impacted Schedules (as approved by District Secondary Curriculum) they may take (without having previously received a D or F) Health, PE or Art Fundamentals. Students make substantial gains in comprehension while doubling reading speed. They also learn the best way to read textbooks, take notes and study for tests. Counselors discussed the guidelines used to select classes, class levels and class prerequisites. Counselors covered graduation requirements and college entrance requirements. Parents filled out scheduling forms and returned them that night. If you were unable to attend, please come in to the Counseling Office to pick up a scheduling form to fill out and return. The 2011-12 Student Tutor list is available to download below (in files). Copies will also be available for pickup in the Counseling Office. This is a list of bright and eager students that will tutor for pay or for community service. It is up to you to call the student's number and make tutoring arrangements. The San Bernardino County Library offers free -online, tutoring for math, science, social studies and English. Help Now is offered seven days a week from 3:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Spanish speaking tutors are also available.
